XVI annual Conference of corporate members of International association of horizontal directional drilling specialists (MAS GNB) has been held on March 22-23, 2017 at «Park Inn by Radisson Hotel» in the city of Izhevsk. Representative of BT SVAP LLC Galiullin Aidar made a report within the Conference framework regarding the achievements in ZUB technology implementation and current projects of PJSC Gazprom which involve using of composite protective coating ZUB-Composite.

Whereas last year report regarding using of ZUB technology during pipelaying by method of HDD was taken as totally new and unknown thing, this time everybody admitted this coating to be one of the most effective means of pipeline protection under such construction terms. XVI Conference started its work with annual meeting of chief officers and authorized members of corporate members of MAS GNB, during which President and managing bodies of association were elected, 2017 work plan was approved, and decision regarding holding the next Conference in March 2018 in Orenburg was taken. One of the key moments of the Conference activity was analytic report on the results of marketing survey for horizontal directional drilling among former USSR countries in 2016 year, which was presented by the President of MAS GNB – A. Breidburd.
