The main gas pipeline "Mozdok - Grozny" was put into operation

The Mozdok gas trunkline was inaugurated in Grozny on April 7, 2021. The event was attended by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, heads of specialized divisions and subsidiaries of the company, representatives of the republic's authorities.

Within the framework of the implemented project, for the construction of an underwater crossing over the Terek River, BT SVAP LLC carried out a complex supply of pipes with an external protective coating ZUB-Composite, an innovative product of PJSC Gazprom. The unique strength indicators of the ZUB-Composite protective coating ensured guaranteed protection of the pipeline insulation from damage during pulling through in difficult pebble soils using the Direct Pipe method.

BT SVAP LLC specialists carried out a set of works on sealing butt joints in route conditions with a specially developed solid polyurethane compound of fast curing, the strength of which corresponds to the strength of concrete. The protection of the joints with solid polyurethane made it possible to carry out the laying of the underwater passage in the required time frame without any damage to it. As part of the construction cycle, the company's specialists performed on-site training of personnel on new technologies for protecting pipelines.

The Mozdok - Grozny gas pipeline is laid in the same corridor with the Stavropol - Grozny gas pipeline. The length of the new gas pipeline is 101.7 km and its diameter is 720 mm. Built from Russian-made pipes. During the construction, crossings were arranged over 13 highways and six water barriers, including the Terek River.

Based on the results of the work performed, BT SVAP LLC received a positive feedback from the Contractor.
